Welcome to The Amateur Brewer
The mission behind The Amateur Brewer is to share as much information as possible about homebrewing with beginner and intermediate homebrewers. I’ve been an avid learner for all of my life and that has been no different when it comes to my homebrewing. I’ve read countless articles and books, watched all of the YouTube videos, listened to endless podcasts, and generally learned a lot by trial and error; all in an effort to absorb as much homebrewing knowledge as possible and brew better beer. The Amateur Brewer will become the place where all of that knowledge can be shared.
Don’t get it twisted; I am not an expert, by any means. This site is called The Amateur Brewer for a reason; I’m still very much learning and making mistakes right along with all of the rest of you homebrewers out there. But as I continue to learn and grow, I hope to help others learn and grow as well.
This site will become a home for how-to articles, insights into the science of beer brewing, homebrewing recipes, equipment reviews, and other useful resources related to brewing beer. My style is generally short, sweet, and to the point, and I hope the content of The Amateur Brewer follows suit.
So thank you for visiting and browsing the site. I look forward to growing the content of this site for many years to come. Please connect with The Amateur Brewer on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest.
Cheers and Happy Brewing!
